Raised in a highly entrepreneurial family, it is not surprising that Meg Hickey parlayed a BS in Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati into a career that has spanned several decades and nearly every facet of the industry. Her financial side experience alone includes 5 years as V.P. of Mortgages for Maine Bank & Trust; 15 years as President/CEO of her own Mortgage Brokerage in Portland, Maine; 20 years as a private lender; and 5 years as a partner in a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage.
Meg has closed over half a billion dollars in real estate transactions…and has personally financed, bought, renovated, sold and maximized the ROI on dozens of investment homes. No one better understands accurate valuation and skillful negotiation…or is more familiar with what it takes to close a sale at the best possible price in the shortest possible time.
Under Meg’s tutelage, her son, Mike, learned early on the importance of effective communication, what constitutes true concierge service, sound negotiation tactics, and solid investment principles for high-end real estate.
As a tenacious professional, Mike has achieved top designations in luxury real estate marketing and representation. He earned his Florida Broker’s License, which is the highest Level of Licensure one can achieve and became the youngest ever Broker Associate at the Firm. He also holds a GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) Designation, is a CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™) and has achieved the Prestigious Million Dollar GUILD™ Status. Recognized as an achievement in luxury markets around the world, the Million Dollar GUILD™ recognition assures high-net-worth-individuals that real estate professionals who have achieved GUILD status are remarkably knowledgeable, experienced, and have the unique skills necessary to meet and exceed expectations for today’s most discerning luxury buyers and sellers.
This formidable team brings a high level of focus to helping each client achieve the best possible result in the purchase or sale of luxury real estate in Vero Beach riverfront, oceanfront and lifestyle enclaves. Their commitment to their clients and their community extends well beyond closing as they are both Former Rotary Presidents and continually serve as directors on local charities supporting over 2800 children in the county.
